Pinewood is a Special School in rural Hertfordshire on the outskirts of Ware. We cater for 160 pupils in School year 7 to 11. All our pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans.
We are currently looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our friendly staff team for 15 hours per week term time only, plus inset days. Working hours to be agreed.
You will be required to assist with general finance duties, but your main responsibilities will include:
- Reconciling school dinner monies, chasing outstanding payments and liaising with parents and the catering manager.
- Assisting with the organisation and income for school trips and liaising with staff and parents.
- Scanning invoices onto the school finance software.
- Assisting the Finance Officer and School Business Manager.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role, but induction and training will be provided. You will be confident with using Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and word and learning new systems.
