It is a pleasure to welcome you to Pinewood School Academy Trust, a specialist SEN setting where every young person is celebrated, supported, and encouraged to be their best. We support pupils with Learning Difficulties, Autism, and Speech, Language and Communication needs.

Thanks for coming!

A huge thank you to every one who attended our Fete on Saturday, what an amazing day it was and fantastic to see so many past and present pupils and the wider community there!

Build Update 3 – June 2024

Work has progressed rapidly since our last update, with the over 30 units from a total of 90 which make up the temporary school now delivered and installed on playing field.

These units make up part of the main school building, with a single story building also due to be built containing our dining hall, kitchen and sports hall.

A further delivery of units is due in the next few weeks and in school we’re sharing progress updates with students and planning some supervised visits to the site to get a closer look at what school will look like from September.

Build Update 2 – May 2024

It’s now May and work has continued steadily on the temporary accommodation site. The groundworks are now almost complete with a level surface having been prepared ready for the delivery of the temporary building modules in the next few weeks.

By the end of May, the buildings should have been erected and work will begin on the fit-out.

The builders have their own ‘village’ which is secured off from the main school site for safety reasons. The gaps in the hoarding around the site are deliberate to allow students to watch the progress and prepare for the change that’s coming from September when we move in.
