One of Pinewood’s very own Nina Parrish of 8T recently competed in a Special Olympics competition, representing Great Britain event at Waveney Gymnastics Club in Lowestoft.
Nina started Gymnastics when she was two years old. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, continuously building her confidence and determination to succeed!
The crowd was packed and were cheering Nina on as they watched her compete on the vault, bars, beam and floor routines – to which she performed fantastically in.
Janine Peart, who owns Stortford Gymnastics with her sister quoted: “Nina really rose to the occasion and loved every minute of it, as did I.”
“Myself and my sister started Stortford Gymnastics three years ago and we have gone from strength to strength. It is seeing the delight and progress of Nina’s gymnastics that makes all the long hours and hard work worth it.
“She is an absolute pleasure to teach, she adores gymnastics and works so hard to remember the routines.”
Everyone at Pinewood is incredibly proud of her achievements! Well done Nina!
