This Friday 13th September 2019 is Dahlicious Dress Up Day!
The day is a fun-filled fancy dress day in aid of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. Your child may like to come to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character. This is a marvellous opportunity for your child to become a Roald Dahl hero for a day! It’s a great way to begin the school term, set your child’s imagination whizzing and ignite their passion for reading. During the day children will watch a Roald Dahl film.
For fun dressing up tips you can visit: https://www.roalddahl.com/charity/fundraising-and-events/dahlicious-dress-up-day/information-for-parents/
The dressing up guides use everyday household materials to create the costumes. Or why not dress up in Yummy Yellow, Roald Dahl’s favourite colour.
Donations of £1 are welcome. The money raised by taking part in The Dahlicious Dress Up Day enables Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity to continue helping seriously ill children around the UK. Please help the school raise money for specialist children’s nurses and other marvellous things like family grants which help families when caring for a seriously ill child.
If your child does not want to take part, then please encourage them to bring a prop.
